Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wyndham harbour is an awesome location for people of all types to come and visit, Or at least it was.
Recently the Wyndham harbour rock wall has been gated and locked down to people fishing arguably due to complains by the local Wyndham harbour residents,
This spot was an amazing location for local youth to start getting into fishing, kids and teenagers can’t drive cars therefore it is unlikely they will even consider a constructive hobby in something like fishing when they have to travel multiple kilometres just to find a spot where they are able to catch fish.
With some 1st hand experience growing up in Werribee I can tell you no matter who the parents are or what school they send their children to there is a big risk of falling into a bad crowd, drugs and alcohol are becoming a huge problem.
And it is effecting Wyndham now more than ever.
Unfortunately I know people who could benefit hugely from a hobby like fishing but just to get somebody started means a whole lot of hassle and travel and for a beginner most times this just becomes overwhelming and off putting,
Werribee has such a massive potential to be a great place to grow up and raise kids
So please, In a time when we need activities for youth more than ever
Don’t shut the rock wall

Went to Ramae's hoping to have a nice experiance with a friend with decent coffee and cake on Sunday afternoon.
When the order came out, they mixed up our drinks order, and it came out in a to go cup and deserts on a plate....
Went to wash my hands before eating in and was absolutely disgusted by the toilet. Both toilets were really dirty, floor looked like that someone had pee'd under the hand dryer.
Worst of all though, the walls around sink, and mirrors and sink looked like they had not been wiped down or cleaned ever (Its a real shame that the photos don't show how dirty the walls, mirror and sink was caked in layers of calcium and dirt), but since I am trusting the same people can't be bothered to look after the toilets, it freaked me out how they were handling my food.
I asked for a refund and they said they have a policy not to refund on the state of the toilets. Then only after an employee helped out, he organised a refund. Then the owner started to get involved and making excuses about the toilet, I asked for his name where he told me he said his name was "none of your buisness".. and then I said to him though I understand that toilets can get dirty when you have a busy service, but there is no excuses for not having cleaned the walls, basin, and mirrors where I have to wash my hands.
Though all his employees were apologetic, the owner kept escalating, pushing my buttons and trying to argue with me. If he was paying for the food, wrong order on drinks and really dirty toilets where it made you feel like you didn't want to wash your hands there, you can be sure he wouldn't find his standards acceptable.

Did a drive to this place after seeing the real estate flashy brochure from south east. Its a long drive and pass through large farm land to arrive in the destination. I realize there is no infrastructure, grocery store, schools and public transport. Yet the developer's trying to sell land at premium price as it has got stinky water front with body corporate fees for detached house.Bit unsure why they are asking for body corporate fees for maintaining public areas.
Also checked in the realestate site that lot of WH property sitting in sale for longer period of time and hard to getting sold. As a tourist destination I would prefer to go a beach in St kilda, Brighton, Williams landing or Altona. I pity to all Wyndham property owner and investor to get trapped by greedy developer. Cheers Sam

Drove a long way too see this place, but there's nothing here! No shops, the coffee shop has closed down & nothing to do but go for a brief walk. Saw a couple of snakes around the bushes wish was not surprising considering the environment. There's lots of housing development & the boat harbour itself is nice but they need to do something to attract visitors. Would not recommend.

Went for a Sunday drive and ended up here. A quick drive from Werribee or Point Cook. There is an eatery plus some paths to have a wander. Plenty of parking as well.

Beautiful marina it has great capacity to become a tourist retreat, however, it is not yet fully developed. It only has one cafe with a fish chip shop. There is no other shopping experience like in other marina's.
The beach is also full of algae so it doesn't attract bathers.
All in all it's a nice place to go for a walk or a drive.

Well worth a visit to see all the development going on in the area. Lovely to sit and look at the boats moored in the harbour, very relaxing. The cafe is also worth a visit as it has recently changed hands and is much better than the previous format.
