Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Excellent birding! Found over 90 species in just a few hours. You do need a guide to go to some sections but it is definitely worth it.

I have been to the Western Treatment Plant on three occasions to see the birds. Anyone who is interested in bird watching or bird photography should put on their must do list

We enjoyed a morning driving and walking around to do birding at this treatment plant. The plant has set aside areas that have been cultivated for being safe havens for birds. We went to the Werribee Information Center located at the Werribee Free-range Zoo to sign up for a permit because we were going on a Sunday., because the plant isn't open that day. The info center opens at nine. They gave us a key that unlocked gates so we could have free access to various birding areas. They also gave us maps and info. The pre-sign-up and process for getting a a key is explained on the plant’s website. It also lists the many bird species you may see. There are birds in various habitats, such as coastal, marsh and reeds, forest, etc. If you are a bird watcher, you will enjoy this location!
