Spent all day being driven round Philip island by the knowledageble guide who was happy to answer all our questions. Stopped for lunch at churchill island, which was included in the tour price. The penguin parade was the highlight of the day. We booked the ultimate package but unfortunately on the day due to the weather we couldnt do this, instead they made a package up on the spot giving us part of each other tour available to book which probably worked out better for us! Highly recommended. Thanks.

Dianne took my family and I out for a memorable day around the Island.
The tour was extremely worth the value lasting over 12 hours and tailored to our interests. Our main interest was seeing the Island's wildlife and Dianne timed the attractions perfectly ensuring we got to see the animals at their most active. The koalas were feeding when we visited, we got to see baby penguins in their burrows during the day, wallabies roaming in the wild and got great seats at the penguin parade.
Dianne took the time to give us as much information as she could as we drove between attractions and was very knowledgeable on all aspects of Phillip Island. Carefully timed visits to the chocolate factory, Amaze and Things and the Nobbies were a bonus.

Diane is a local entrepreneur that will work with you to make your visit the best it can be.
Don’t bother with the cruise ship’s inflated offerings. Work with Diane who is pleasant, knowledgeable and can be creative regarding scheduling.

We took the "Destination Phillips Island Tour" with Dianne's Ventures from a Cruise Ship. Our ship was delayed and Dianne was great about accommodating the change of times. We were supposed to start at 11 but didn't dock until 2pm.We were a group of 8 in a van. The tour took us to some nice vista's, a "historic" farm where we saw a demonstration of sheep shearing, some kangaroos and koalas. Dianne was very conscientious about time and getting all the sites in but she was somewhat un-engaged, spending a lot of time on her phone and she sped through the stops making us often run find her.The problem is, that except for Penguins, there isn't much to see. Also,we went from 2p to 10:30 without Dianne once asking anyone if they wanted to stop for a snack/dinner
Our last stop was the Penguin Parade. It is a "must see" with a price. The penguins themselves are amazing and fun to watch - BUT there are between 3000-4000 people at the "parade" and you have to get there at least 2 hours early to get a good seat. (Go for the far right side of the left bleachers). Bring warm clothes -even in the middle of summer it got pretty uncomfortable The penguins don't come out of the water until sundown -so they are hard to see. Also - NO photographs are allowed! The while parade is about 1/2 hour and getting out is a zoo because of the crowd.
Go once -not twice

We were on a cruise ship and in advance had booked a private tour with Dianne. She was very responsive to all emails, and also very informative. All went according to plan, we were picked up at the nominated time, and we had an amazing day with Dianne. As there were only 6 of us we went in her Rav 4. She tailored the day to suit us and it was fantastic. She took us to see koalas, we had lunch at Churchill Island, visited a winery, and she had our tickets already organised for the penguin parade. She ensured we got back to the tender boats on time. I cant recommend Dianne highly enough, when in Phillip Island she is the tour operator you should book!

Let me just say, Phillip Island Tour was amazing. My family and I went on the Ultimate Adventure Tour and we got to view the penguins walk around the beach! And on the way back, we saw some penguins close up(I nearly stepped on one)! Truly a wonderful experience if you care about nature.

We booked complete 12 hour PI tour and Penguin parade for our cruiseship stop to PI. Unfortunately our scheduled 11pm departure changed to 2pm. Dianne Ray the owner was immediately called when we learned of this change. We were offered a pickup at 10:30am and drop off at 1:30pm (3hr tour), which we politely refused as this was unacceptable after we paid in full over $130 US per person for a full day tour. She insisted we attend and would still have a great time. We told her that our main reason for the tour was the Penguin parade and the 3hr tours w/out this was of no interest to us.
DO NOT BOOK a tour with this company, as ships times can change and she was unwilling to refund us for the tour due to circumstances beyond our control. We emailed her after returning home asking about our refund. She claimed she would issue 50% refund. It never happened. We disputed charges, and still no refund (not even the 50% she agreed to via email which we have). HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL.

I would like to respond to this review. The customers who booked this tour all decided to take the shortened tour and elected not to stop for lunch. You were the only one who cancelled your tour. They were picked up at 9am and all dropped back at 1pm and had a very enjoyable day and saw more than they would have on the normal tour. All tour customers receive my terms and conditions and the cancellation policy is clearly pointed out to all customers.

2 friends and myself (all aged 27) were staying in San Remo and wanted to visit a few a wineries without one of us missing out by being the designated driver so we googled and came across Dianne’s Venture Tours. The half day tour was organised via text message - no deposit required - and we had an amazing day from 11-4:30 with Dianne. We visited 3 wineries, a cheese tasting and had the most delicious lunch which included beer tasting for the boys and a truly 15/10 sweet wine tasting for myself (see photo). As someone who has done multiple wine tastings in the Hunter Valley, Yarra Valley and overseas my advice is - don’t hesitate, book with Dianne.

Dianne took us first to Purple Hen Winery in Rhyll, where we got to taste 6 different wines ranging from Shiraz, to Pinot Noir, to Cabernet Sauvignon and more.
Next, was the Phillip Island Winery, where we got to enjoy another 6 tastings accompanied by a lovely cheese and cold cuts platter. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and was eager to share how they produced the wines.
Thirdly, was the Bass River Winery, a family-run winery, headed by the lovely Rosa. We enjoyed another 5 tastings (and came away with a delicious bottle of limoncello).
Last of all, we visited The Gurdies Winery, where we enjoyed another cheese platter and live music with another 5 tastings.
We thoroughly enjoyed the outing and Dianne was an excellent host, full of knowledge and well worth the expense.
Thank you Dianne
Kind regards
Chris Buley.

I am interested in booking for 2 travelers for the full day "Phillip Island Tour Including Phillip Island Penguin Parade". It says that pick up and drop off from Phillip Island locations is included, and locations in Melbourne can be arranged for a fee. What is the fee and how do we arrange?

Hello, I am sorry I did not see your enquiry. The charge to pick up and return to Melbourne is $160 per person. What date are you looking at? Dianne

We are booked on a Seaborn cruise in December. It stops at Phillip Island at the cruise port. We are interested in the tour of the island and the Penguin parade. Can we be picked up and dropped off at our Ship or in the cruise port? If yes, what are the pick up and drop off times?
