This is a must when visiting Strahan. The Harbour Master is a comfortable Vessel with knowledgeable, great staff. The captain has open invitation into the wheel house. We were lucky the weather was perfect. Were able to go through Hell's Gate to Cape Sorell and...More

This 6 hour cruise was the best activity we have done on a holiday. We booked the gold tickets, excellent seats and service. We had a nice morning tea and a magnificent but simple lunch, all you can eat. The visit to Hells Gate, Sarah...More

Everything about this cruise was first class. We were lucky to have a perfect day and our photos with the gob-smackingky beautiful reflections are proof. The staff, facilities, lunch were excellent. Highlight was the Sarah Island visit and the commentary by the very passionate and...More

We paid for premium seats but this is probably not necessary as you are unlikely to sit in your seats most of the time. We found the commentary adequate but a little scripted - would have enjoyed more information in the many gaps through the...More

A must Do when in Strahan. Period. You will enjoy the view and the overall experience. My recommendation on seat selection. If you like to pamper yourself, go for the Gold Seats. If the weather is bad, go for the gold seats. If weather is...More

We had been on this trip many years ago in fine weather. Today we had heavy rain squalls. Notwithstanding this the boat was well presented and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly and the buffet lunch was very good. The trip to Sara Island...More

Comfortable boat, very knowledgable crew, enjoyable lunch - overall good day. One small suggestion would be to include tea, coffee or even water at lunchtime. This is not an inexpensive day and having to pay for a cup of tea with lunch just irked.

The captain was informative and courteous and the Sarah Island experience exceeded expectations - best tour guides ever experienced. A...More

Photographing the lighthouses at Hell's gate and Bonnet Island, Sarah Island and the rain forest are highlights of the cruise for photographers. We departed at 9 am and returned at 3 pm. The cruise was smooth on a large boat with excellent food and beverage...More

How long before would I need to make a booking for two people for the afternoon World Heritage Cruise dinner included? What is the cost per person? I am thinking that we could be in Strahan Saturday 21st or Sunday 22ndJanuary.

I would book as soon as possible as it's still school holidays and especially being a weekend they will get booked quite quickly. I think we paid about $260 for 2 adults and our 5 year old son and that included the buffet... More

Hi yes the seats are fine whichever you decide on. You aren't in them much anyway, due to you'll love the freedom of roaming around the boat inside and outside. Hope you enjoy!!

As a person who isn't too keen on boats is this cruise on calm waters?

If it was very windy it could be a little rough on the bay, and they then go out to the heads, but not out to sea as such. The rest of the time is in the river so is not rough at all. I would say it would be a pleasant ride... More
