Very good reason it has the UNESCO rating. This place is just beautiful to explore. Lucky to be able ti see it while doing the river cruise. Really amazing part of the state and world.

This is a world heritage site and deservedly so. So much worth the visit and the time taken to drive here. Thank you to the people who protested and ensured this area has been saved.

One of the main reason why people travel to Tasmania. It is peaceful and beautiful place to be and once you are there you never want to leave.

We visited on a boat cruise on a calm day. The water was like glass. Beautiful destination and I am glad it is being preserved.

Nice short walk, which is duckboarded over the wettest part now. Steps are uneven, but worth the effort.

15 minutes return, just off the main road was the suspension bridge. Enough of a walk for us, but you can walk all the way to the top if you wish.

We enjoyed viewing old Huon pines up to 800 years old and a baby of 90 years! We always wonder if there are thylacines hidden away in the trees!

We spent about 40 minutes on this track "The Franklin River Nature Trail" and were rewarded with a lovely Echidna.

A terrible unkempt path to an amazing swing bridge over the Franklin. Quite wet under foot.

Glad we made the effort.
