Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We just loved this shop along the road from Launceston to Freycinet National Park. It was a goldmine of stuff of all kinds to look at and peruse. Collector Books, Antiques, Souvenirs of all sorts, Vintage Jewelry, Ceramics, Crystal and Original Artworks of all sorts. Of course we bought something. just visit it is fun to break up the drive and the staff are helpful and friendly.

What a fabulous treasure trove. We could easily have spent a few more hours there. It is a great collection of antiques, books, china and collectables and jewellery. I easily added to my collection of little jugs and my husband bought an antique model car for his collection. The car would have been difficult to bring home so we took advantage of the postage offer. The car arrived 4 days after we arrived home, along with a lovely birthday greeting for my husband.
Do not drive past this place. If you do, you can do as we did and make a u-turn just down the road. You will not be disappointed.

What an absolute wonderful little treasure in the Bush! I could easily spend 3 to 4 hours in this shop there is there is so much to see, explore, and enjoy. I will definitely be coming back to Tasmania back and literally make my way back to the shop.

This is hands down the best antique store I have ever been too. So many cool things all displayed nicely. There was a open fire roaring which made the experience even nicer.

Such a wide range of vintage and antiques in this store, the prices were very reasonable. The store is laid out in a logical category system making it easy to work your way through, but give yourself at least one hour. The owner and staff were very pleasant and ready to assist. Make certain you stop at this shop in the bush!

Already open in the early morning and we decided to visit. Friendly greeting from the proprietor and then we were left to browse. There was an excellent range of antiques, vintage jewellery, collectable books, ceramics and mementos on display. Very good selection in my field of collecting interests but nothing that I could add. My wife purchased an attractive paperweight.

This is a definite must when visiting St Helens. It is shop selling antiques, collectibles and a small selection of Tasmanian products. We visited the Shop in the Bush 12 years ago and I don’t remember it being as good as it currently is. Everything is sparkling clean and the prices are generally reasonable. I will definitely return when I’m back in the area.

Loved this little shop, something for everyone. Lots of antiques, books, souvenirs and even fishing rods. Not cheap but well presented in a nice shop, staff friendly and helpful. Well worth a stop bit tricky if you’re towing a caravan.
