Mackenzie Falls at Grampians pales in comparison with St Columba. It’s about 40 minutes drive from St Hellens.

The sign states that it is 600m walk from the road. It seems a lot longer. It is down hill on a wide well formed track all the way to the falls where there is a small viewing platform. The falls drop 90m cascading down...More

This is a 25min each way walk, stopping for photo ops and just enjoying the forest floor and trees above. Well worth going off the beaten track to visit and on the way back you can reward yourself with a lunch stop at the cheese...More

With the recent rains the falls were magnificent. A steep walk down and up but managed it with an injury

The falls were beautiful- the walk to them was easy enough along a fairly well maintained path. The best part was near the falls I felt like I was in the movie Avatar or in pre historic times. A very beautiful place would definitely recommend...More

Like walking on earth before dinosaurs, the trail meanders through ferns and other native plants. Tantalising views of the waterfall beckon before reaching it. Photos don't do it justice.

Beautiful falls. Would be fantastic to see after it has rained. The path was well maintained and easy to walk. Quick to do so worth it if you are in the area

It was a cold, misty, and rainy day, but the walk up to the falls was worth it. Beautiful forest and river too.

It was quite rainy and misty but the couple coming up from the trail reported seeing a platypus so I was keen to head down. The trail down is easy as is down hill. It’s quite a hike back up but definitely worth it. One...More
