While we didn't see any ghosts it was still a little eery wandering around in the dark with only a few torches to light the way. Our guide was quite a character and had quite a few stories to tell. We took our 9 month old who slept most of the way even through a bit of loud story telling.... More

Booked the fine dining and ghost tour package, food was fine dining and amazing highly recommend eating there, tour was ok , goes for 1.5 hrs, we walked thru a beautiful old church and went into a couple of old houses , i would have preferred to do the tour around the jail and old ruins ect, hard to take... Didn't know what to expect but our guide Meadh with her knowledge on some of the events that occurred during the convict era over the years made the night. It was a warm, clear night full of stories about some of the people who lived and died in the settlement. Well worth doing even though I had no personal ghostly... More

I was looking forward to enjoying a good spooky tour of Port Arthur. However, I found it to be not very scary at all. The scariest part was trying not to trip over anything in the dim lighting.

Great tour by our guide Claire. She had great insight into the site and the ghostd that haunt the grounds. Her story telling was great and made the experience all the more thrilling!

First timers at 50plus and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Could not fault the amazing dinner prior to the tour, excellent value for money. The tour guide was informative and due to her family history connections really brought a great vibe to the group. Highly recommend this tour

It was great to get a different historical perspective on this important site. I'll admit I was scared but then again it doesn't take much! You get to see Port Arthur at night. The guides are very informative and obviously love their jobs. I would recommend it for anyone who loves history. Not for anyone who wants a guarantee to... More

The success of this depends a lot on the tour guide. It was raining quite heavily during the time of our pre-booked tour, but the tours still go ahead. No umbrellas are allowed to be carried during bad weather, so come prepared with raincoats as will get quite wet walking and standing out in the rain. The rain added an... More

This would not be a first choice for me, but seeing it was a birthday gift for my wife I had to go. We arrived nearly one hour before our tour at 9.00pm, after driving from Hobart, which took just over an hour. After checking in, we went to the cafe an had a dessert and drinks, often kidding on...
