This is one of the few things you can find in oatlands. The mill. It's unmissable, because it's the only, and the tallest structure in this small sleepy town. Go for historical significance of the place... and maybe a picture.

Interesting place to visit and see an operational mill. Worth getting to see if you can see it operating .Town is also worth a look with that quaint old history charm.

We were travelling back to Bicheno from Hobart and stopped to see the Mill! The history is amazing, it is a well preserved small town and the working Windmill is a pleasant site. Well worth the side trip.

Love Oatlands and this mill is amazing. Fully restored and used again. Plenty of history and I had holidays in Oatlands over 50 years ago. Worth a visit for sure. Got some great photos.

The mill tour is definitely the highlight as the town isn't dying it's dead! Sad to see a town that has closed down and is up for sale. Still mill tour is very informative with upfront exposure to raw engineering. Can't wait to see if...More

A mill that has been restored to its former glory, buildings and outhouses around it too have been lovingly restored too. Plenty of history to be seen and enjoyed, feeling of stepping back in time. Got some great photos.

We took a detour off the highway to check out Oatlands and were charmed by the beautiful old buildings throughout the gorgeous town and to our delight could see a huge old windmill dominating the skyline. Callington Mill's huge sails were rotating majestically and are...More
