This place would be great if it didn't charge adults $8 to get in. I get the whole $2 to feed the fish but really the entrance fee is a massive rort, particularly when adults with kids get so little out of it.

Loved it. Great history of the area. Loads of fish to see. Scenic surrounding. Cheap. Enjoyed the old fishing hut set up felt like someone would turn up with their catch at any moment.

Beautiful grounds alongside a river... tranquil setting. What made our visit and day was the sighting of a couple of platypus, right in the pond amongst the salmon... Priceless! The lady in the coffee shop was friendly and informative. A lovely place to visit.
