Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We didn’t play golf but visited the club for lunch. The views really are amazing, it is right beside the tallest lighthouse in Australia which in itself is worth seeing. We called ahead and booked a table for lunch. The food was good standard fare and reasonably priced. The staff friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to visit whilst on your stay in King Island. Even better if you play golf.

golfing heaven
best course ever played
tip - bring own golf balls and lots of them
don't need to be a big hitter to enjoy an amazing golf experience
I will go back again despite the obvious travel involved
King Island itself and its friendly locals are great for a visit but the golf is the reason to visit

Bucket list course that lives up to the hype.
Spectacular views abound on this course, combined with challenging but very enjoyable golf.
Be prepared for the wind and to lose lots of balls

Not played many links courses. We stayed and played as part of Golf Journey tours. You can see the ocean from just about every hole. Take plenty of balls, mens tees very unforgiving to drive.
Accomodation was good and comfortable without being fantastic, but we weren’t there to sleep! Food was excellent.

Excellent course. Play on a day when the sea swell is highest as it adds to the majesty of the course and experience. Could do with more merchandise in the pro shop

An amazing bucket list kind of long weekend!!!

Many thanks to Matt and Sam, and all of the Cape Wickham crew for looking after us over the weekend! The golf course is truly magnificent, the personal service outstanding, the views are nothing short of spectacular, accommodation so great looking out of the golf course, lighthouse and Bass Strait!

A special shout out to Matt and Sam who didn't stop the whole time we were there, and tended to our every need and request with a smile.

And a huge shout out to the magnificent green keepers who clearly love what they do, and served up an outstanding golfing experience for us to enjoy!

We'll be back - hopefully sooner than later!

For most golfers - a must! Great course, great greens, even if a little slow on our visit and great views - and good value.
