Fabulous old homestead in incredible grounds
Feb. 2021 • Couples
This historic homestead is the ancestral home of the Reibey family ( her of the $20 note fame - although she herself did not live there). Incredible old home with antique furniture while the plethora of outbuildings has to be seen to be believed, along with the machinery. The conservatory and house gardens alone are well worth a visit. The whole is surrounded by parkland.
A visit here is well worth the time and effort.

We went for our first visit to Entally house when they had their open home and garden. Fantastic, and will be back for another visit soon.

We spent an excellent night at the base for the Tasmanian walking company before leaving for the bay of fires walk. Comfortable, clean and convenient.

Frozen in Time

This old homestead has been well preserved and maintained by dedicated locals and is well worth the visit. Set among well maintained gardens and surrounded by a vineyard, the presentation and furnishings of the household take you back to a forgotten era.

A step back in time.

Any trip to Tassie should include a visit to Entally House to view the magnificent gardens and wander through the old house and outbuildings. A handful of volunteers keep the house and gardens in their original condition. A beautiful place to wander and imagine.

Fantastic day out with my Tassie bestie "Vicki". So many stalls to explore, food to try & treats to buy. Devonshire Tea on the porch was delightful.
