Beautiful Bay

The walk is about 1.5 hours walk. It is a little steep when you walk towards the bay. The water is so clean when you look down. The reflection looks so amazing.

We continued on from Wineglass Lookout to Wineglass Bay, crossed the isthmus to Hazards Beach trail and back to the parking lot. It is only 11 km but beware: lots of boulders to climb, some with slippery granite facings. It took us about 4 hours. One needs good hiking shoes and should be unafraid to climb around and slide.

What an amazing walk. I continued on to do the full loop around to wineglass bay, hazards beach and back to the car park. I would highly recommend this for the able bodied. The sign says 5 hours but it only took me and another couple around 3.5. However, I wish i had spent more time on hazards beach. It... More

The best view I've ever had on my entire life. It's a decent walk up a mountain, but once at the viewing point, it takes your breath away. Well worth the walk!

Lovely view over wine glass bay shared by throngs of others. The track was 5 star making it as easy as possible for everyone. Friendly wallabies on the track. If you have the fitness...do Mt Amos and or the Hazards circuit as well.

We did the hike to Wineglass Bay Lookout. By far the most strenuous walk yet. Probably over 1000 steps and 40 minutes each way is optimistic.Even the young fit backpackers had to stop several times on the way. However, It is all worthwhile when you see the Bay. So beautiful. Sad that is was once a whaling station and the... More

Amazing veiws, the sceanery is so beautiful in Tasmania. We went in November when everywhere was so green & Lush. The locals told us its the best time to visit for that reason. One of the most stunning bays in Australia, well worth the effort. If you are unfit it may take longer - up to one and a half hours - but most fit people will complete the walk in 45 minutes or so.

It's a bit of a hike but well worth the effort, the vista is magnificent and the beach and water colours stunning. If you are an older person, like me, take your time, rest as needed but remember the water, sun screen, insect repellant and hat.
