An absolutely brilliant experience and couldn't recommend it more highly - Roshan was the perfect guide/host who has a fantastic depth of knowledge of not only the local wine industry but the area itself. All the wineries were welcoming, with premium wines enjoyed at all - with many bottles purchased. We will make sure this tour becomes part of our annual trip to Bicheno. Roshan is most certainly the best guide/host we have ever had on a wine tour - Australia wide. Cheers Roshan for a magical day!

Roshan's easy going manner and knowledge of wine and the wineries we visited was amazing. We had a small group only 3 of us but we all had such a great day. The food at Springvale Winery was sensational. We had plenty of time at each winery we visited and because we were with Roshan, you could see that he was well liked by all and we know why, he is such a nice guy.
We started the day with a coffee at the Pondering Frog. Really good coffee, so good we came back for breakfast the next day and wasn't disappointed.
If you get the chance I highly recommend you take the long lunch tour, it is a wine and food extravaganza and worth every cent of the very reasonable cost.
You will not regret it!!

Roshan was so bubbly and had such great energy from the moment we met him. He was so incredibly knowledgeable on the wines he was pouring for us but also about Tasmania and the east coast. We had such a lovely platter by the open fire amongst the vineyards for lunch and hopped around to see about five wineries on the day. Freycinet Vineyards was our top pick of the day.
Roshan even let us stay for a couple of drinks at the end of the day at Freycinet Lodge where some of the other tour goers were staying and it was such a lovely, chilled way to spend what we thought was the rest of the night but on our way back to being dropped at our accommodation, one other couple wanted to see some fairy penguins and even though it was late in the night, Roshan knew exactly where they'd be and we were able to see them in the wild, just the five of us. It was an awesome way to end the day. It was definitely great value for money - we got picked up at 10:15 and didn't get back home until 8:45! Enjoy the Sunny Coast Roshan. You deserve a break :)

From the first contact booking the Wine-dy long lunch tour - Roshan was so very helpful, sharing his invaluable local knowledge. Once aboard the tour the whole experience was an absolute delight, food, wine, laughs and so relaxed. Unique , wonderful. Thank you Roshan

Roshan was an incredible host and guide from start to finish. He was attentive, knowledgeable about the wines and the different processes and really cared about ensuring that the group had an amazing experience. We booked the tour to celebrate my partner's 30th birthday and Roshan went above and beyond to make the day as special as he could for him, including arranging for Mel's Kitchen to open her doors just for our group (huge thank you to Mel, too!).
We were in a group of 6 with two other couples which was the perfect size for this type of tour. It really was a lovely day out visiting local wineries that produce delicious Tasmanian wines and eating beautifully fresh, locally sourced food.
If we're ever back in Tassie (which we very much plan to be), we'll absolutely be touring with Roshan again!

It's hard to think of enough superlatives to describe this experience. Our group of 5 people had a wonderful time. Roshan went above and beyond to cater for the particular needs of one of us. He is a generous, gregarious, friendly and extremely knowledgeable person. He spoke about the (many) wines that we tasted in language that the clueless amongst us could understand. The wineries that we visited were superb, in the most beautiful and spectacular of locations. It was a well named "long" lunch, with a fun group of people. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat, and recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of the delicious food and wine that Tasmania has to offer. Thank you Roshan. You are a star

I just finally sat down to write this review on my return from a wonderful trip to Tasmania. Our group of 16 were lucky enough to have Roshan take us out for the day when we were in Freycinet. We had the best time - visiting Freycinet wines, lunch at Mels Kitchen, then onto Milton wines and Craigie Knowe. Roshan was a great tour guide, went out of his way - even to the extent of organizing oysters for us to have at our first stop. The wineries and the lunch we had - thanks to Mel from Mels kitchen were excellent. We had a lot of laughs and bought lots of wines. If you ever visit the east coast, please do yourself a favour and book Roshan for the day. Value for money, his knowledge and his wonderful manner made our day one to remember. Hope you enjoyed your well deserved break after our loud group Roshan and hope to visit the east coast again one day. Thank you from us all :)

We had the absolute BEST day on this tour! From the minute Roshan picked us up till he dropped us back at our accommodation we had so much fun. He is so knowledgeable and fun to be around. We can highly recommend booking this tour - do it, you will not regret it. Nothing is too much trouble for Roshan. We are so glad we did this tour and can't wait to do it again when we are next in the area.

I can highly recommend this tour, Roshan was an excellent and informative host who introduced us to four East Coast Wineries we had not previously visited, Springvale, Milton, Gala and Freycinet. We visited Springvale first where we did a tasting then enjoyed a magnificent lunch at Mel’s Kitchen ( not to be missed) then on to Milton, Gala and finally Freycinet to enjoy a tasting plus cheese, bread and their beautiful olive oil. Each winery had its own charm and informative, welcoming and friendly staff. Thank you Roshan for a great day which we both thoroughly enjoyed

Hi there
Are your tours child friendly?
Written 8 May 2017
Child friendly Group Tours.
If you have a group of 8 - 12 people including kids we can accommodate you for sure.
If it’s only a couple with a child it’s not that suitable as there’s probably other guests that may not be keen for infants to join.
If the child is over 8 and the parents able to ensure the child’s behaviour, we are starting to allow kids.

This sounds suspect- a wine tour operator who drives the bus and supposedly drinks more than the clients? I think not - did you even go on the tour? I have been and it was one of the best days out I have EVER had.

Thanks for your feedback and question. Obviously this guy has not been on the tour as it is illegal for me to drink anything.
I always joke on the tour that my body loves the 8 hours that I can't drink.
Thanks for your support!!
See you next.
