Tripadvisorโs approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful spot to visit. We walked around 9am on a weekend and arrived to a near-empty beach. Worth taking your swimmers for a dip in the crystal clear water. You could spend hours here if you have enough suncream, water and snacks. It was a little grey when we were at the lookout but blue skies by the time we were at the water.
Signage said the walk down to the bay from the lookout was 1.5 hours return, but for us (reasonable fitness with no breaks) it was 20 mins down and 25 mins back up. Total walking time from car park was 1.5 hours return.

What a view! The hike to the top isn't bad, maybe 40 minutes round trip for someone of average fitness level. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Wasn't the easiest walk but definitely worth it. Tour only 45mins but there are quite a few steps to climb. Wish I would of had more time to go further than the lookout.

We did the loop walk from car to wineglass bay, hazards bay and back, took us about 4 hours. It is one of the best walks in Australia. We had inclement weather, so bring water and the right gear.

The walk was amazing, a bit challenging up all the steps but totally worth it for the views and experience!

We visited the Bay by boat (during a cruise around the peninsula) and by foot, both on the beach itself as well as to the lookout. It's a lovely spot, very special. You have to put in some effort to see it, but it's worth that effort.

Silly me, absolutely loved my trip to Tasmania but wasnโt prepared for Tasmania Parks charging so much to access nature. Having to pay for a parks pass soured the experienced somewhat. Happy to pay, but $60 for a family day pass? I feel sorry for people trying to travel on a budget, as those sort of fees hurt.

We started our hike late in the day as the weather was not good in the morning but by late afternoon the sun had appeared so we headed for the lookout. Myself and my friend are not experienced hikers so we were unsure if we could do this hike. As it turned out its quite easy, just take your time, stop and enjoy the views whilst climbing up. Its well worth it when you reach the top. Tassie parks have done a great job in upgrading the walk, the path is easy and theres a lovely seating area at the top to stop and take it all in. It says its a 1-1.5 hour return trip. we took 2 hours but we did stop alot whilst climbing and also spent a bit of time at the top.

Did the climb to the lookout. Great views, but you need brilliant sunshine for it to look good. Must be a rarity if Tassie has 300 days of rain annually. The beaches at Jervis Bay NSW are better.
