Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Although the campsite was busy we managed to find a spot for our campervan- beautiful place to stay with the sounds of the waves and beach access. Decent toilets (long drop). Campsite is easy to find.

We stayed overnight at the Friendly Beaches camp ground - a free camp overlooking the beach. Sites are made separate by natural vegetation. You cannot book so first in best dressed. No power or running water. Drop toilets with toilet paper but no hand washing facility. An amazing location - spectacular scenery. Cold overnight so rug up.
Would recommend.

Lovely day trip, it's a beautiful place. Don't bother going to camp though. Full mid week in March, sites bagged with tables and chairs, no booking system. Don't waste your time on the 4km drive over a million pot holes. Don't know why Tasmania doesn't have a NP booking system like the other states do.

We had the most beautiful stay here. We got up early to an incredible sunrise. The camping ground is great and we loved lying in our camper van listening to the waves. If you visit Wineglass Bay you must visit here as well. It was absolutely one of my favourite spots on our whole trip

Walk through a little track to see this pristine beautiful beach. Walk to 5minutes or longer, lovely clear water and white sand. Lots of bird life nest in the scrub on the sandbanks you are encouraged to keep clear to ensure no accidental damage.

this lovely beach is on the way to wine glass bay and Freycinet Marine Farm. I visited it on a rainy and cloudy day. despite of not so good weather it was wonderful to be there. sand is absolutely white . we were the only ones on the beach. its gave us wonderful opportunity to click pictures and have peaceful walk. though not completely safe to be in the water here, one can enjoy walk on on shore.do visit if in that area.

It's a lovely spot and abundant with wallabies so be careful when driving around. There is a good lookout and many other beaches to see and you can camp here too. The road had plenty of potholes due to recent rain too.

Taken here by locals, wow, what a stunning, pristine spot. Turtles have right of way on the beach (it's a nesting area). Some surfers there when we were there. Lots of great little individual camping spots, but get in quick for the best spots. A real unspoilt paradise.

Easy drive off the main highway. Beautiful views and nice camp spots. A must see if you have time. The walks along the beach are amazing.

Freycinet was closed for fire danger, so we found ourselves here -- so happy we did! Absolutely gorgeous, not crowded, perfect for a picnic and a swim.
