Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Honeymoon Bay is tiny, very tiny, but an absolute gem.
It has a small beach that boats can pull into, and good, sheltered safe swimming. From the beach, or off the gently sloping rocks you can then snorkel around the bay, and out into the more open water, in perfect safety. Wonderful shallow reefs and soft corals and sea grass bed teeming with fish.
And, in the evening, wallabies come down to the beach to eat and pose for pictures.
There are toilets some distance behind the beach and picnic facilities, and plenty of shade.
There’s a fair bit of parking, but I expect on busy days this would fill up fast

We stopped here on the way from visiting the other sights, ample car park spaces with toilet facilities. Few steps down and you are at this pretty beach. I loved how small it was, great spot to have a picnic. You can stand on the surrounding rocks and get better views. Just beautiful.

I was so looking forward to seeing this beautiful bay in the sunshine but when we got there it was cold and raining so that was disappointing but it is still a beautiful bay. Beautiful and secluded and amazing rock formations that you can climb over to see amazing views over the bay. Would definitely recommend to stop and see this gorgeous bay

One of the best places we’ve ever seen!! Crystal clear water, calm water, quiet. The sunset at the honeymoon bay looks spectacular.

We did this by accident. Really lovely views off the rocks. Getting there requires a little bit of fitness but not huge. Would not be suitable for small children or those with low fitness. The colour of the water is just beautiful.

Nice sunsetviews besides a tiny bay. Also good photo ops of rockformations at low tide. The sun will almost set in the sea, hamperd by the end of the mountainrange

Honeymoon Bay in Freycinet National Park is another example of perfect places and stunning scenery. We did the walk in from the car park back in November as we were exploring the area and it was truly astounding to see how beautiful it is. The water was a bit brisk but we had a quick dip anyway and it was a picture perfect place to see and enjoy with relatively no-one around.

This place is amazing especially on a sunny day as the light accentuates all the colours of the turquoise water, the green moss, the black mussels and stones. It's a little piece of paradise and easily accessible for families. We had a picnic there, enjoyed walking on the rocks and taking lots of pictures. The traveling guides seems to focus on Wineglass bay, but I found it as pretty. It's quiet and not crowded so we didn't feel rushed to leave.
We saw some people who seemed to be preparing their wedding ceremony there and thought it would be the ideal place as well.

It's a short walk from the car park into Honeymoon Bay. Great views and lots of rocks and waterholes to explore.

Easy stroll from the car park. The views are amazing. The water is so clear. It's just beautiful. I would love to be there in the warmer months though as the water was rather cold. Maybe best in December
