Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic views that are only a short walk from the car park. We visited early Saturday morning and only one other family was present, making it a peaceful experience. Would love to visit again in the summer and go for a swim as the water looked divine, even though it was late autumn. If you decide to walk on the rocks be aware of barnacles that live on the parts closest to the water! The car park was a bit uneven and muddy at the time of our visit (early May). You need to have a parks pass to visit here, but we saw no rangers around checking passes during our visit.

Honeymoon Bay is a small very pretty bay with great views of Frecinet but it is untidy, poorly maintained and despite the natural beauty not that pleasant. So much potential not realised.

On the west side, Honeymoon Bay is just beautiful and well worth the stop. A small carpark, with a covered picnic table and amenities, leads you to a short dirt track down to the bay.

Delightful quiet spot to visit, magnificent views, largely unspoilt area. Honeymoon Bay is part of Coles Bay and close to the Wineglass Bay lookout.

I was so looking forward to seeing this beautiful bay in the sunshine but when we got there it was cold and raining so that was disappointing but it is still a beautiful bay. Beautiful and secluded and amazing rock formations that you can climb over to see amazing views over the bay. Would definitely recommend to stop and see this gorgeous bay

My favourite place in the whole of Freycinet National Park. We were staying at Freycinet Lodge and its a few minutes walk from the cabins but there is a carpark also for day visitors. It's a pretty sheltered bay for swimming and snorkelling and there are rocks that people sit on at sunset to watch the sun go down. Some people bring wine and sit on the rocks and it's just a gorgeous view. Fabulous.

We stopped here on the way from visiting the other sights, ample car park spaces with toilet facilities. Few steps down and you are at this pretty beach. I loved how small it was, great spot to have a picnic. You can stand on the surrounding rocks and get better views. Just beautiful.

Honeymoon Bay is tiny, very tiny, but an absolute gem.
It has a small beach that boats can pull into, and good, sheltered safe swimming. From the beach, or off the gently sloping rocks you can then snorkel around the bay, and out into the more open water, in perfect safety. Wonderful shallow reefs and soft corals and sea grass bed teeming with fish.
And, in the evening, wallabies come down to the beach to eat and pose for pictures.
There are toilets some distance behind the beach and picnic facilities, and plenty of shade.
There’s a fair bit of parking, but I expect on busy days this would fill up fast

Beautiful quiet spot at this time of year, especially when the sun is out, though for sunset viewing summer would be better. Toilets, picnic tables and BBQ close by.
