A gentle introduction to the Freycinet National Park. Beautiful & serene. The waters are calm as Honeymoon Bay is inside Coles Bay. An easy, short walk. The colours of the rocks are unusual. The beach is scattered with shells.

A 10 minute drive from Coles Bay. Peaceful. There are piles of abalone shells on the beach apparently from aboriginal beach-side feasts. I heard there might be kangaroos on the beach but no sightings

One of the best places to observe Tasmania’s golden hour. Great place for kayaking as well. One of the highlights in Coles Bay

This is a fantastic little spot to just look at the amazing beauty or if you are brave enough to handle the cold, go for a quick dip. It's less than a minute walk from the carpark so very easy to get to and well...More

I have never seen a beach that you can walk so far in before getting deep. The contrast in colours is amazing. Was a little tricky taking the motor home further

Came past on our way to Wineglass Bay and what a pleasant place to find. Sit on the rocks and relax, climb around a bit or go for a swim if the weather permits it. Certainly there were a few brave ones in the water...More

Where else can you get clear blue waters , the amazing view and be able to camp on the door step . I’m an ex Tasmaniac and showed my wife and her sister the bay and they were speechless. We went for a swim ,...More

Well worth stopping, especially on the way back from Wineglass bay. Gorgeous area, not much of a traditional beach (more pebbles), but absolutely wonderful snorkelling with great colours.
