Great service! We called Annette the morning of our planned hike, and she provided thoughtful and very welcome advice to ensure our walk went smoothly. Due to our disorganisation, we'd missed the 12pm pickup but Annette swiftly arranged a later pickup for us and warned us against delaying to the next day due to the forecast wind (woke up the following day very grateful for this advice as it was indeed too choppy to be enjoyable). Travelling in our family was two adults and two children aged 5 & 9- experienced hikers but the 5 year old wasn't quite 100% and still recovering from an earlier illness. After dropping the children and one adult at the lookout car park, it was a half an hour walk from freycinet lodge for the other adult to meet everyone back at the carpark. We then walked up to wineglass lookout, then down to wineglass bay, and finally across to hazards beach, where skipper Earl punctually collected us and transported us home, saving a couple of hours extra walking. We stopped by a seal colony on the way, delighting the children. The taxi is not cheap but worth it to discover these areas with our children (and barely any complaints from them about sore legs!).
