Called in on our way from Launceston to Richmond. It is a large market with loads of interesting stalls including fresh fruit and vegetable stalls. Things seemed to be reasonably priced and there were a variety of things available. Local arts and crafts, as well as local jams and relishes were available for the locals and tourists alike. Some delicious... More

Stopped in at Evandale markets as we were driving down the Midland Highway, saw the signs and thought we would stop and have a look, we are glad we did. Twenty cents entry to the markets and a multitude of stalls to look at, a lot of knick knacks and preloaded clothes, tools and items to peruse, a lot of... More

What a wonderful market. It had everything. Food and crafts and pre-loved clothing. Purchased a wonderful Huon pine and blackwood platter. Great lasting memory. Evandale town is a must to go and wander around too. Great shops and buildings.

We visited the quaint township of Evandale and happened on the Sunday market. There was a good mix of stalls, lots of antiques and retro stalls, vintage clothing arts, crafts, plants and food. All in all a fun market and a lovely location. Great place for picking up a bargain.

Evandale market is a fantastic community market and it's only a short drive from Launceston. Heaps of stalls selling preserves, vegies, clothes etc. There are even pony rides for the littlies. These is a small charge to get in, can't remember but it may have been 50 cents. I got a vintage beer tray for $8.00, which I've seen in... More

Fantastic feel at the old style markets. Enjoyed a variety of stalls, including hand made, imported, antique and secondhand goods. Mr 3 loved the $4 pony cart 'drive' and the attention that went with it. The combination of Sudanese doughnuts and coffee was delicious as we sat in the weak winter sun. Everyone was friendly and really helpful. Make time... More

Great market for all families. Has pony and activities for the kids. It has cafe and Fresh fruit and veg from local farmers. Alot of brick brack but you can also get clothing and some good bargains. Worth a regular visit as you have the regular stalls but also a variety. Just the right size if you have small children... More
