Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Just a short walk from your car and you can get amazing views of the rugged coastline. Do not forget your camera

Beautiful scenic views from here of this wonderful place! Not far to walk from the car park and in the same vicinity is the Blow Hole, Tasman’s Arch & Devil’s Kitchen which makes it very worthwhile visiting each location.

Along the way and it’s surrounds there is lots to see. You can look at the layers and the colours all day if u have the time. The sound also if you are not in a hurry to be elsewhere. Lookout for native fauna and flora!

A tourist or walker or lower of nature cannot go wring by visiting this part of Tasmania. The state has an identity of its own.We visited this as a walk that included other features.

The walk along Fossil Bay lookout was refreshing but we were disappointed to see nothing fantastic.
Will give it miss.

A short walk from the blowhole is the Lookout. I only realised later that I had looked at where a sea cave had collapsed and created a depression that headed in the direction of the carpark. At the lookout there are spectacular views of the cliffs and ocean in both directions. Unfortunately no waves crashing against the rocky platforms at the base of the cliffs.

Once you have parked for the blowhole, you will see a well signed track leading east. This is a dramatic coastline, so any vantage point is going to give you a wonderful experience

This lookout can be reached very easily with a gentle and short walk.
You can see the blue water of the ocean crash on the rocks.

Only a short walk and well worth it to see the weather worn cliffs, we were there on a lovely sunny day but I can imagine what it would be like during a howling gale.
