The fact that every one of the other 50 reviewers have given 5 stars says it all - we'll make that 51. Accommodation, food, trails, guides (in particular) - all superb.

This is our third time at blue derby pods ride. We love coming back. It’s different every time whether it be the rides , guides , weather or different people.
I learn more and more every time about a sport I have grown to love.
Being in this beautiful part of the world is incredible as well as allowing me to be “ in the present “ much of the time .
Thank you Bianca and Danni for being such excellent guides and for sharing so much invaluable knowledge.
A big thank you to Tara and Steve for coming up with this incredible idea.
We’ll be back.

Best MTB ride ever and staying in the Pod was amazing. Gourmet food ready at the end of each rides. Tim & Charli we’re amazing .

We had the most fabulous 3 days. Our guides chose the tracks according to the experience of the group, were very knowledgeable about the flora, fauna and history of Derby and produced delicious meals based on local produce. The accommodation is spare but with everything we wanted - off-grid and hidden in the bush, it was cosy and comfortable. I think intermediate - advanced riders would enjoy the tracks most but the accommodation is so comfortable, it’s fine just to chill out in your pod and not ride at all! I hope we will be back.

This is an amazing adventure for anyone who rides a bike. I had never done mountain bikes but ride road bikes every weekend. I am 65 years of age and reasonably fit. The leaders gave instructions on how to handle the trails and were with you all the way.

You can not improve on perfection. The accommodation to staff, meals and the trails were exceptional. Brendan and Charlie were accommodating and very helpful with some biking tips and guiding us around the trails. We had a fantastic experience.

To say I was nervous is an understatement. My husband booked this for our anniversary, and although I had never really mountain biked before I was reassured I would be okay.
Well the experience was absolutely amazing. The Pods are stunning, the accommodation as a whole is just WOW and the food is plentiful and so tasty.
The staff are caring, kind, considerate, passionate and so patient.
Both Brendan and Dani are saints. My husband was as good a rider as I was bad, but that didn't matter. Brendan in particular was very patient and calm and explained techniques so clearly that I eventually improved.
We met some great people and the experience on the whole was exhilarating. I loved it, even if it did take me way out of my comfort zone.

Uplifting, thrilling time finding the flow. We booked the 4 day experience, our second time.
Returned with a couple we met last time and made new friends this time too. Our incredibly energetic guides Tim and Charlie with their wealth of local knowledge go out of their way to ensure an incredible time, such hard driven workers.
Impressive trails with break taking scenery through the forest. Great temperature for riding compared to Far North Queensland in summer.
Outstanding delicious Tasmanian food along with selection of wines to sit back and enjoy in the hub after a full day of riding. Our group were so entertaining and we were thrilled to have Tim and Charlie’s company for our second time.
When it was time to retire for the evening the pods offer such tranquility for a solid nights sleep then awaking to the sounds of nature the following day.
Thank you so much Steve, Tara, Tim and Charlie for another memorial holiday. Blue Derby Pods is the most incredible holiday experience that we have so many memorable moments. I doubt anywhere else can offer what you have created.

This trip was one of the best we have ever done. It’s hard to list my favourite part- the guides, the food, the Pods or the mountain biking. Food first-Locally grown and sourced it was better than any of the restaurants we have been to whilst here in Tassie.
Coming a close second was the pods and living areas. Totally off grid with no waste and architecturally designed living and sleeping areas, it was like stepping into ‘Grand Designs’.
Third for me ( but first for my 13 year old!) was the mountain biking. Our guides Tim and Dani were the best! We were a mixed group of keen mountain bikers and timid novices. They totally catered for both and meant that we all ended the trip with huge smiles on our faces! They also looked after our food and comfort and were great company.
Lastly the natural beauty of the area is second to none.
Thank you so much for three memorable days-we will be back.
