Really enjoyed our 24hrs in the area. Unusual scenery up the mountain and the mountain is gorgeous. Unless you plan to do many hikes I wouldn't spend more than a full day to 2 days at the most.

Totally see why it has World Heritage status...beauty everywhere. A range of walks from 2k easy to 2-3hr for those wanting a bit more challenge. The visitor centee staff will assist to guide you to the best track for your fitness level

You can get a shuttle bus to all the stops I have a bad foot so we went to the Kat stop which is Dove Lake there you can see Cradle Mountain peaks also all the walking tracks tell you how long they take but we didn't do any... More

There is a variety of accommodation available just depends on what suits you. There is cradle mountain lodge, Waldheim cabins, highlander cottages and the wilderness village. Hope this is helpful.
