About
We are Tasmania's first and only canyoning company. We offer an exhilarating way to see a part of Cradle Mountain visited by very few people. We are based in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, with our tours departing from our office, right next to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. We provide all the gear you need and no experience is necessary - just show up dressed for a hike with bathers, towel and a drink bottle and we'll do the rest. Our tours involve getting through a canyon by whatever means necessary. This includes, walking, floating, swimming, jumping and sliding off waterfalls and abseiling. For an unforgettable experience at Cradle Mountain, come and join us and discover the secret side of Cradle Mountain.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing experience! Guide was awesome and we had a great group. Lunch was good! Highly recommended, don't leave Launceston without going canyoning!

The Dove Canyon experience was genuinely the best day ever. Pat and Ray, our phenomenal expert guides, led us through the breathtaking canyons, assisted us as we assailed, jumped of waterfalls and slid down natures water slides. They navigated with such confidence, infusing the whole journey with excitement and pure enjoyment. Their guidance made the experience incredibly rewarding—a day beyond my wildest imaginations.

This was a great experience! Awesome and knowledgeable instructors in Ben and Pat, a variety of challenges to overcome (I’m quite scared of jumping off things), a great workout, and a unique activity. The food was great at the lunch stop, and I am really glad I did this and finished it, with some pretty daunting moments. It was quite physical, very cold in the water (but we’re mostly padded up), and could be quite tough for those with fear of heights. But, challenge yourself!

Great fun, especially on a not so clear day around cradle. Great guides and made sure everyone had the best time. The only negative was the walk back - or shall I say hike - to the bus. Lunch was basic but enough. Would recommend to any travellers/adventure peeps!

Awesome day canyoning through Dove Cayon. Our guides Pete & Pat were great, their knowledge and expertise was outstanding and safety was always first. For those who want an adrenaline rush I would highly recommend doing this trip you will not regret it

There are the best hikes on Cradle Mountain, but canyoning is another way to explore Cradle Mountain. It's totally worth it; it leaves you with unforgettable memories.

Hands down the best fun we had in Tasmania. Parents, 12yr old and 8yr old all loved Lost World. The gear provided keeps you warm, and guides were great with the kids.
