Great friendly service, pick up in Launceston was on time Jeff was a great driver had lots of knowledge of the track and was great to chat to on the way on options for the walk/side trips. Very convenient as a solo traveller and even extra bonus of getting your fuel and hiring a PLB makes OLT a go to option for me. Pick up at the end was also the same with Steve for the Hobart drop off but the bonus was his wife Jill packed apples for us which after 6 days on the track was a treat. (Thank you) We got lots of sights pointed out along the way and very convenient drop off in Hobart CBD. Overland Transport have it all covered and makes it very easy and one less thing to think about when planning your Overland hike. See you next time!

I used Overland Track Transport to collect me in Launceston and deliver me to the start of the Overland Track. They then kept my luggage while I walked and collected me at the end and took me back to Launceston. The service was flawless, on time, bus was comfortable and the drivers friendly and knowledgeable.

Friendly staff, prompt service, and some local knowledge along the way. Would have marked this excellent if only they had driven into the driveway of our hotel at drop off instead of making us cross a busy road with 3 large pieces of luggage at the end of a long trip. But overall very good.

Overland Track Transport is a fantastic company. A few days before the trip, they sent out a confirmation email detailing where and what time to meet, the journey to the trail head (e.g. where to stop over for breakfast) and opportunity to purchase any last minute hiking items. The van arrived on time to pick me up and the driver was very professional and helpful. He even taught me how to adjust my backpack as it was a new backpack. The return trip also went very smoothly. I would highly recommend this company.

I had to make a couple of changes to my booking, staff on the phone were really helpful, called back promptly and it was all sorted out easily. I recommend their shop for items, I bought the gas and a map, saves the hassle if you are flying in. Our driver was really informative and good humoured, the drive to and from was a hassle free pleasure.

We had a wonderful experience with the Overland Track Transport team. On the way to the start of the track our driver provided excellent insight to the first couple days, telling us which side tracks were must do's. The journey back to our accommodation at the end of the track was perfect for some exhausted traveler's on a warm day. we were greeted by our driver with chilled apples giving all of us a much needed energy boost for the trip home. Again the driver gave recommendations of places to see and where to eat in Hobart. All staff were very friendly and would definitely recommend to friends and family

Thank you for the fun and informative transport to and from the overland! We were provided with lots of tips and information which made our trip easier - especially from Geoff who told us not to get excited when we saw a hut in the distance on the way to Pellion hut…. !

Loved that we could store our bags that we didn’t need on the track & get them back again at the end of our hike. Prompt pick up direct from our accommodation in Launceston & returned to accommodation in Hobart. Very friendly staff with a wealth of knowledge on the track, we changed our plans after chatting with our driver & it was definitely the right thing to do. Great range of gear to hire or buy, we hired our PLB & it was super easy to arrange with full instructions on use given on collection. In our tired state we forgot a pack at the end & left it in the trailer when dropped at our accommodation, whoops! The staff were so accommodating & nice when we called & the driver called straight back & came back to the accommodation to deliver the pack, so kind, thank you Andrew! Highly recommend, brilliant service with amazing staff. A wonderful start & finish to our Overland Track adventure!

Sean was very knowledgeable and amusing with lots of great tips for our Overland hike. Nothing was too much trouble and I was able to hire a PLB from him. We were grateful we could leave our luggage and it was there when Sean collected us from Lake St Clair 8 days later. Great service and highly recommended, thanks Sean.
