I detest this place. Cradle Mountain is my favourite place in the world but this disgusting excuse for a vsitor centre is beyond belief. The original centre is further up the road - it used to provide a most welcoming and cosy ambience which was...More

Worth a visit to learn more about the area and park. Lovely short and long board walks start here and the inside displays offer so much information you could spend an hour or 2 here.

We stayed at Cradle Mountain for the weekend and used the visitors centre shuttle bus to travel up to Dove Lake. It is well worth using the visitors centre rather than driving up to Dove Lake yourself as you get to skip the queues up...More

Our only negative from our whole trip to Tasmania was the attendant on the desk where you purchase the National Park Passes from. Please someone give her training on how to be friendly, courteous and happy to visitors. Her rude, abrupt mannerism along with her...More
