The views over the Islands North East of Bridport were incredible White Beaches and Crystal Blue waters. The pilots we flew over and back with Pete and Lachie were very professional and informative, telling us about the areas we flew over. Their Service was very professional and they were very accommodating. Would certainly recommend Flinders Aviation.

The staff were great communicators, helpful and flexible. The aircraft has excellent windows to view the fantastic clear waters, islands, rocks and sandbars. The plane is a study platform to fly in and the pilots are highly professional. The plane can accommodate awkward luggage, such as inflatable kayaks.
Certainly will fly with them again. well done Peter, Lockie and the female pilot, whose name (sorry) i did not catch.

What great service and hospititality from the guys of Flinders Island Aviation. Be met with a welcoming smile and then off for the scenic hop into Lady Baron. A great experience and a must do when your in the North East of Tasmania.

We flew with Flinders Island Aviation to Flinders island return and what a great trip! The entire staff are extremely friendly. Pete, Matt and Zack are all very competent pilots who made us feel very comfortable during the flights even when the winds picked up . The scenery along the Tassie coast as well as all the islands you fly over during the trip was spectacular.
The planes are clean and looked well maintained. The one we flew over in seated 8 people including the pilot.
There isn't really anything much to do on Flinders Island but I'd highly recommend using Flinders aviation for a scenic flight over the islands or the Tassie coast. Our flight had a few workers traveling to the island. They said it was much better to fly over than take the ferry and waste a day traveling one way.
Flinders Island Aviation has multiple planes as we flew over along with 2 of their other planes.

The flight with Flinders Aviation was amazing. Lockie our pilot made the journey very pleasant.

Flinders Island Aviation do lots of things from helicopter flights to sight seeing charters to deliveries to the Furneaux Islands. Their bead and butter business though is flying passengers from Bridport in NE Tasmania to Lady Barron on Flinders Island. They do this wonderfully well with very personal and friendly service at a usually lesser price than other services to FI. No parking fees at their airfields. Wonderfully scenic flights along the NE Tasmanian coast offering great views of the world class Barnbougle Dunes golf course, and then on to the azure waters of Franklin Sound. Flexibility of flight times if needed. Smaller (but comfortable) aircraft and extensive contacts on FI so that packages can be arranged if needed. Like full service airlines they have hire cars available at their airfields and can take your luggage without the usual inflexible weight limits. There are also no long check-in delays. So, for an alternative, economical, way of getting to the Flinders Islands, with an unparalleled level of personal and friendly service, Flinders Island Aviation fits the bill.

Good trip to Flinders and return as part of Trek TAS organised tour. Flinders island aviation staff were friendly and knowledgeable and made my first trip on single engine light plane an enjoyable and exciting experience.
