As Bothwell has the oldest golf course in Australia, and from memory the Southern Hemisphere, it seems only fitting that they have a golf museum as well. For a tiny entry fee of $5, you can see a wonderful history of this great game as...More

The museum is housed in a visitors centre that is bright and friendly. A great way to learn more about this interesting historical town. There is a modest fee for the museum but not for the centre itself.

If you are in Bothwell and have an interest in golf try this museum as it has a nice collection of older golf gear and memorabilia. The staff are friendly and helpful. Buy a few golf souvenirs while you are there.

The Bothwell golf course is the oldest in Australia. Note: it is not the oldest golf club but the oldest golf course. And the museum is a fantastic insight into the history of golf with many artifacts and the guide is there to answer all...More
