If you are in Tenterfield you will notice very quickly that Peter Allen is everywhere. The most iconic place for pilgrims of Peter Allen is the “Tenterfield Saddler” which was owned by Allen’s grandfather. It is the basis of the song by the same name....More

Was a interesting little place and free to look around. There was a couple volenteering, very friendly. Had lots to tell about the old saddler. There's also some leather merchandise for sale.

really looked forward to this visit, big let down, not really a saddler at all, just a tourist stop, with stuff for tourists. I wanted a small job done, no go, it's Not a saddler in the true sense of the word. Do not bother.

Dropped past today to see the Saddler. Great pieces of history and memorabilia to see. Really gave us a link to Peter Allen and his Grand Father George Woolnough, who must have been a very respected man in town. Everyone trusted and confided in him....More
