Not just for train buffs. The old station and assembled period rail cars and engines combined with interesting displays is a credit to ,I assume,a dedicated group of volunteers who appreciate the history and contribution that the rail system has provided to country Australia.

This museum is well worth stopping for. Great displays, well maintained by enthusiastic volunteers. We were impressed by the large displays of both objects and trains.

Quite enjoyable to walk through the exhibits and old train carriages. Well worth an hour or 2 with the kids.

I love trains and railways to start with so visiting here was a no-brainer. So much to see and do! The station rooms have been converted into exhibits and it's a treat. I loved seeing the old photos of trains, stations and bridges. Aside from this is a set of well preserved rollingstock and equipment from several decades. Friendly staff run the site and it was a delight to visit.

This was a great museum! Interactive and tactile, young and old will enjoy. An important but little known part of Australian history. Volunteer run, and everything is kept in mint condition!
