Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The museum was interesting, but as I had just been to the Gulgong Pioneers museum the day before, it was a bit underwhelming. Still a great exhibit though and it is free so definitely worth a visit.

Congratulations to the local historical society for putting together an excellent little folk museum which collects a lot of local family history and artifacts and genuinely valuable items too. A great snapshot into local life over the last hundred years or more. Found a couple real little treasures in there myself. What will you find? Thanks to the small team of volunteers who made my visit rewarding.

Unfortunately we were there outside opening hours. A great disappointment. But had an enjoyable walk in the ground and congratulate the wonderful team behind this preservation of our heritage. Good parking in the main street. Lovely Australian village not to be missed. Great friendly caravan park within walking distance of village centre.

A really interesting collection in this little museum. And the two volunteers were the most enthusiastic I've ever met at a museum, full of information and passion for the history of their community.

The museum is open on the weekend but unfortunately we were passing through Rylstone on a week day. The old building is worth looking at and the gardens are just great. Loved the Iris.
