Best picture show around. An extremely quaint little picture house that used to b a community hall that shows some of the best art films. It sells soup an bread so it’s a great place to see s film and have dinner. So old school...More
What's there not to like about this place. The serve hot soup and toast, tea and hot chocolate, choc tops, great movies, heaps of leg room between seat rows, cheap ticket prices all in an authentic retro theatre. Great community spirit. Love it.
Had a great time here seeing Tea with the Dames. We travelled some way here to experience the atmosphere of this old theatre and we were not disappointed. As it was cold, the theatre had quite a few choices of food selections, including hot soup,...More
I first went to this friendly, small cinema with its lovely community feel 5 years ago when I moved from England to Blackheath. It was a cold mountain evening when I first experienced this quaint little cinema and was warmed by the welcome we got and I...More
This is THE best community oriented independent cinema. Kirsten and Adam are fabulous hosts, select great films, support the community, make awesome choc tops and hot homemade lentil soup to enjoy during winter film sessions.
The best little venue in the mountains
This is my local. Love love love it. A rainy day refuge, offering wonderful soup and home made delights as well as your cinema classics-the ubiquitous choc-top etc. it's a great family business which offers consistently good programming and value for money every time.
This theatre is good old fashioned seating with all the compensations for the hard edges and paucity of luxury. Think soup bread n butter before the show on a cold winters night. Cushion for your back madam? Of course!
V pleasant evening!
We love the Mt Vic flicks and visit there regularly. They show a great selection of art house and main stream movies, and the home-made food is excellent. We often plan our visits to include dinner as well - $17 for a movie, mug of...More
Experience cinema Blue Mountains style. All other reviewers have covered it well. I'll just add that I have memories of the organ playing before some films in the past. Live shows. And, a few times, on a cold (possibly snowy) and wintry night, the film...More
