We visited West Wittering beach over Easter and enjoy a lovely walk on the sand and played on the beach despite the grey clouds and light rain. Lots of car parking but imagine it to be completely full and busy on a hot summers day!...More

This has been a firm family favourite for years. Bought by the local community, part of the East head sand dune area is a National Trust bird reserve for the rare little tern, and skylarks. It looks out across the sea to the Isle of...More

We visited in the easter holidays, and £4 for all day parking is very generous in that part of the world, so i was happy about that. The beach is lovely and i would definitely recommend walking along the beach and the dunes there. On...More

Lovely large beach. BBQs are allowed and it is dog friendly off season. There are toilets, a cafe and a very large car park. It gets really busy in the summer so arrive early to avoid queuing.

A lovely beach for a walk, with beautiful scenery parking is a little expensive. You can only use cash in the cafe. But defiantly a beach worth a visit!

We arrived at 1703hrs to walk on the beach to see a sign saying “£4 parking” being replaced with £2. Looking at other reports here it is even more expensive if you arrive earlier. Sure, nothing is for free, but if I wanted to walk...More

We just wanted to go for a short walk and were surprised at the car parking charge of £6.50 per day which will stop us going again. Toilets were provided. Dogs were absolutely everywhere and we were disappointed at the number of times we came...More

We came here last February and, again, this March, to walk our dog around the East Head area, while staying nearby. On a cold sunny day the lighting is incredible, especially at low tide when the reflections off the ridged wet sand make wonderful photos....More

Visited end March 2018. Reasonable car park (£3 per day), clean loos ( warm water would have been nice). Kiosk open ( nice chips, dreadful coffee- a wee bit expensive). Generally good facilities. Beautiful beach, long sandy stretches. Ideal for walking, water sports and family...More

Yes! You will pass by East Wittering which has a fish stall and ice cream shop right down by the beach as well as a fine array of cafes and shops further down it's high street. If the tide is in it will be easier to walk on... More

The gate is often unmanned so not sure having a blue badge would be recognised by the machine.
