When we visited Lancing beach there were kids swimming, even though it was October. Nice beach for a stroll plus a large kids play area close to the beach.

When the tide's out the shoreline is a fab place to walk the dogs from Lancing to Worthing and back - long but relaxing.

Took a walk along this beach to the Perch before lunch to get an appetite and to walk it off afterwards Good views and very popular with cyclists too!

This is a lovely place for a day on the beach, the beach is pebbly, but there is sand when the tide is out, there is a great walk along the prom both east and west to Worthing, plenty of geocaching if that is what...More

We visit as its only a few minutes from family! A large flat green, often used by kite flyers, and picnic goers. A fair park for the little ones, with a new skate park being built. Further towards the beach, there is a selection of...More

Love Lancing Beach with its easy parking at £1.50 per day , lovely new toilets, ice cream kiosk and the Perch Cafe. But best of all take a picnic with you and settle in by the rocks for a lovely lazy day.

Much quieter than Brighton. Beach Green is great for kite flying or ball games with children. The play park is not so good, though the floor has been replaced, the equipment is dated and there is not much for toddlers in there. A new skatepark...More

I can confirm there is water and there are stones and there is sand. This is definitely a beach. It's really very nice and since I live right across the road I'll definitely be going again.

No it's not private. It can be accessed from Beach Green where there is a largish car park, cafe, toilets, playground, exercise park and soon to be completed a skateboard park.
