Not really that memorable
Oct. 2021
Fairly typical National Trust property with helpful chatty staff, loads of greenery and a country house. It was massively crowded on a half-term weekday. The crowding was worsened by seemingly a single route to look round leading to queues of visitors. It is a pleasant walk but the gardens were not at their best. The house ruins give an idea of life for the landed gentry in the 1950s. There is also a woodland walk but for some reason you have to return to the carpark to start.

Flowers and pumpkins
Oct. 2021
What a busy day it was at Nymans today, lots of children hunting pumpkins placed around the garden with different painted faces . The many flower beds are holding up well into the Autumn especially the Summer borders and the South African beds. What with pumpkins and Autumn flowers, there Is plenty of colour at Nymans at this time of year.

Garden colour riot ...
Aug. 2021
The house looks romantic and contains interesting relics from previous owners, even though most of the roof is missing on the building. The herbaceous borders to the front of the house are boldly planted and roughly maintained. The boarders to the side of the house are a riot of summer colour and are precisely maintained. The colour combinations are spectacular.

Go in summer and admire this lovely garden.

The gardens are wonderful and have all the year round interest through some very clever planting.
The house is mainly a ruin but with a few rooms for you to visit. The National Trust volunteers in the rooms were very interesting and knowledgeable.
Would definitely go back again.

Pair it with another property

Beautiful flowers. Picked just the right time to see it at its best. Disappointed with the inside and outside of the buildings. Signage around property could be better. Not much to see or do. Only took about 90 minutes.

Lovely place to visit
Aug. 2021 • Couples
We found this place by accident and as we are NT members went in. We were pleasantly surprised on how lovely it was….we had never heard of it!! The gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed our walk round and then drinks in the cafe. It was very busy and the cafe was struggling to cope so it took ages to get served. Hopefully we can return when in the area again.

lovely place to visit with our client who has severe disabilities. Just a shame some selfish people decide to park in the coach parking secrion. A real pain when you have a minibus

Fantastic grounds and walk ways
Aug. 2021 • Couples
A fantastic way to spend time in the sunshine, we arrived at 11am and it was very busy now that you don’t have to book in advance make sure that you start your visit early.
The grounds and gardens are so lovely you can lose yourself even when busy.
The house is small but worth a visit it was the home of the mother of Lord Snowden so it has a royal connection.
The downside the restaurant ran out of food by 14-00 so a lunchtime break was a disappointment maybe the number of visitors was not expected.
