We went to Burton Dassett Hills today to blow the cobwebs away on Bank Holiday Monday. The park is lovely with great views. Lots of family's having picnics and flying kites. The next sunny weekend we have we will return picnic in tow!

It is a small area of hilltops which are quite barren and used for sheep grazing. So a lot of sheep mess and the sheep are free to roam all over. Not the place to take a dog unless you are prepared to keep it...More

Bad point: pay for parking now, an absolute joke. But apart from that this place is absolutley stunning for any occasion! Wether u just want to sit and think under the stars or have a picnic with friends and family.

A lovely place to have a walk round. It has some lovely views. There were some people flying there kites. Lots of sheep about so watch where you walk, over all a very enjoyable day out.

Great place to take in the views and go for a walk also saw a drone and kite flying around this beautiful countryside. There are Sheep old and young that roam and feed on the grass.

Plenty of car parking, one toilet and no cafes. Old Ironstone mining works caused the amazing undulations on these hills, lots os sheep about and a joy to walk - you can pick your route for strenuous or easy. Topograph and beacon. The short walk...More

The Gaydon Inn has closed down. There is nowhere very local to the Dassett Hills but I would recommend The Wharf at Fenny Compton, which is very dog friendly and is located on the Grand Union Canal about 4 miles away... More
