This is where the Lucys are entombed so it is worth having a look if you are in Charlecote. It is right next to the house.

Lovely church with beautiful stained glass windows. The Lucy chapel is of particular interest in that it accommodates the 17th century tombs of three successive Sir Thomas Lucy. Dame Judy Dench and her husband lived in Charlcote and Michael is buried in the churchyard.

Very interesting and picturesque church located just by the from entrance to the NT property. Is the burial place for members of the Lucy family and their tombs are certainly impressive. Well worth checking out.

Church is far more interesting than we expected. Lovely setting. Parking very close to church in little lay-by. Lots ot see in the church and much of interest. Information leaflets inside so you get to know the history. Highly recommend.
