It's neither near an ocean, nor is it a pleasure park...it's a fairground, and a very good one at that. I've been going periodically, all of my life and I still pop down every now and then.

Always seems to be busy no matter when on the year you go. Plenty of rides to go in and plenty of amusements and places to eat. Make sure you check on line (vouchercloud etc) for offers on the ride tokens.

Visiting friends and had a great time. Went on most of the rides, as we had a mixture of 12-14 kids the surf simulator was good and took plenty of video.

There are some rides for younger children like trampolines, inflatable slide and there's a few rides that go round on a small circuit for toddler ages but not sure for 1 year olds I'm afraid.
