Nice to see well kept parks these days, situated between the town and the main food street and the seafront, nothing exceptional in terms of plants but very pleasant and a credit to the town to see pedal boats and the train in good use.

On the right day these parks can be made to have a lovely walk around with the kids even the train is still fun as an adult.

Well kept. Tidy and litter free. Spring flowers in bloom. Very pleasant for an afternoon stroll. It was a lovely day and plenty of activity in the parks.

Park is fantastic for all family. Has boating lake. Toddler park with sand pit. Older children park. Seating area so picnic or can sit on grass. Has train that goes around park. Toilets provided with disabled toilet. Has water fountain at top of park. Little...More

Not too busy despite it being Easter, but weather not particularly great. Plenty of grasses areas to play ball games. Little train to ride on good for children & two play parks.

A lovely park in South Shield. A lovely walk for all the family. Everything is kept nice and clean and a really nice lake as well. Close to the sea front. Worth a visit

We have visited the parks before and one (South I think) is really lovely , beautifully kept, lovely plants, trees, flowers and a waterfall, lovely boating lake, little train and other children's activities. The other is not so pretty but pleasant enough for a walk...More

Beautiful well kept parks with plenty to do for all the family.The children are well catered for as is the adults with boating lake mini steam train well equipped play area's and a wonderful cafe.
