an eclectic mix of antiques , and shabby chic . It takes hours to get around . browse and enjoy. There is an excellent cafe attachéd called the bear, recommend the bubble and squeak and ham . Possible best to book as it gets busy .

This is a fabulous den of antiquity! Actually its a number of small shops within the larger premises, so that you pay on exit for everything. There are lots of wonderful things to browse and buy

The packhorse is a multi roomed multi level collection of a wide range of antiques and curios, most sensibly priced , excellent venue for an hour or so browse - finished off in the new Bears coffee shop and restaurant on site which is great

I was here for a spontaneous trip out with my wife and daughter. I had expected to be bored stupid, but enjoyed the whole quirky experience. The shop is big enough to get lost in, if you see something you like, don't leave it to come back to, as you will never find it again! Lunch in the cafe was... More

I enjoy having a browse around and the a spot of lunch at the Bears attached to the Packhouse . It had some lovely Christmas decorations and was very festive . It was a bit of a shame as I think they had a bit of a problem with the drains on the day I went as in certain parts... More

We enjoyed tea and scones in the cafe after browsing the antiques centre. The scones were served with butter, jam and cream and were de!icious. My only criticism is that ordering at the counter was chaotic and service was slow.

We had lunch here today in Bears Cafe'. We waited nearly 50 minutes from sitting down to the actual food arriving at the table, The burger was solid, un-inspiring served with bagged leaves and unripened cherry tomato's. The ciabatta it came in was tasty though! The chips were boring and no better than any old burger van's. Service was slow... More

Lovely place for furniture and gifts and food! Great for birthday and Christmas gifts and the new cafe is lovely too. A good selection of food and they cater for gluten free people too! Tasty polenta cake.

... it will certainly take some time. The food we ate was good but it took a long time to order and then a substantial wait for delivery - the pots of tea we had ordered were nearly gone by the time food arrived. Burger is tasty and substantial, and the chips testy, but both need some Mayo or tomato... More
