Super nice place for a walk with children and dogs. Highly recommend it to everyone. Free car parking comes as an extra bonus.

I love this place! I came here as a child living nearby, and even though now I am a little further away (but a lot older!) I still love coming and what’s more so do my kids! The walks are easy to follow and multiple paths mean you can have a walk that is as easy or difficult as you like! I particularly like the walks upon the 2 outer ridges and splashing in the stream is fun too! Great place to spend a morning, afternoon or evening and no draw of cafes meaning my money stays in my purse! Just fab! The practical bit .... Easy parking too. Enjoy xx

used to take my dog quite regular but we dont bother anymore has last few visits there has been a loose bull roaming around last time we went it was right next to the footpath and we had to walk just feet away from.him to get past and it went to run at us, i no of others being chased as well. this area is supposed to be a public area of the countryside for families and the like to enjoy the national trust need to get this problem sorted. and who ever owns the cattle need to learn to keep them under control surely they would be liable of any attack ??
