Great day out walking up in the hills, not too challenging but very very beautiful. You can see from miles on a clear day . A good intermediate walk

Difficult to top rope here for those of us who aren't trad-types, but do-able in a few spots with enough slings. Great views and easy approach. Nice spot for lunch under the trees near the rock too.

If you are relatively local and fancy a mini adventure away from the hustle and bustle of the city take a drive to the Roaches. Once parked up children can run freely whilst enjoying the beautiful sights.

An absolutely beautiful part of the country. We went with 4 children aged 8-12yrs. They had a ball, so did the dogs! Could not believe how stunning the views were up to the top and then across the peaks. Turkey amazing, no place like England.

Most people try and park on the road below the Roaches/Hen Cloud; being a local I would never do that; park adjacent the Old Sunday School below the Olde Rock Inn and walk Back down the hill to the ford, turn right before... More

Hi it is rumoured that people used to live in Luds Church which is seperate from the Roaches but 100% worth the visit, It is essentially a chasm in the ground that appears out of no where.

Yes the Roaches themselves have well trodden pathways and usually attract quite a few walkers, so you will surely see other people while on the path.
