Dirty toilets, grubby tables, poorly kept cask beer, staff rolling up cigarettes on the bar, coffee served in dimpled half pint jugs....I could go on....preferred it when it was O’Neils. Go elsewhere if you want a better beery experience.

Landlord has No customer service skills whatsoever. He always seems to be shouting abuse at someone in front of paying customers, totally unprofessional! Never actually acknowledges customers - a little hello, goodbye and thank you are just standard manners which he seems to lack entirely....More

A welcoming friendly pub by staff & locals. 11 real ales available. One of few pubs been into recently that has a great selection of board games to play, they are in the left hand side corner of pub. Lots of pumps clips around bar...More

A proper pub serving an amazing range of beer. We've been to 2 beer festivals here and never disappointed. Highly recommended.

Went with friends Saturday afternoon for a drink. The staff were welcoming and served us straight away The beer selection was great ......something for everyone. Good atmosphere and the pub was tidy and clean.

I dropped in for a quick drink with my brother and was delighted by the excellemt range of beers available and the very knowledgeable landlord/barman. Very much a locals pub with great atmosphere. Definitely a drinking-man's pub

The 2nd beer festival with 35 real ales, craft ales and ciders, Pop up bar and meet the Brewer session hosted by Magic Rock - live music - hot food - meat raffle. Looking forward to this last years was great! See, you there. Cheers!
