Very welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Wheelchair access by prior arrangement if using a powered wheelchair, (via back door) could use front if in a manual wheelchair. Oldie-worldy pub, but light & roomy during a week day. Biker friendly. :) Definitely returning

I love the look of this pub both inside and out, and the beer is good too. Maybe it's just the time of day I go in but it has a distinct lack of atmosphere.

Called for drinks on way back form Tutbury Castle celebrations. Friendly and chatty staff, pub had good atmosphere. Traditional pub, the lunch menus looked interesting. Also does breakfasts on Sunday. HOWEVER....I checked their Food Hygiene Rating on the web. Only ONE star in 2015; won't...More
