Took my grandaughter here and she loved learning about bugs that live in the woods and she found it so fascinating ..we then walked around the fishing lake and we are planning to go back soon

We had tea/coffee at one of the cafes on the waterfront. Decaff both were available. Lovely setting and extrememly well kept.

Enjoy the country by a canal, watch the narrow boats through the locks, have a stroll, enjoy a drink and meal at the cafe or pub and unwind. It can get busy at times but that won’t spoil your enjoyment.

Lovely place for a wander with the dog, but if it's baby season beware of the swans haha. Parking is cheap too

Nice place to spend an hour or so relaxing and watching the canal's comings and goings. 2 decent cafes and a pub, so no concerns on the ever important catering front.
