A twelfth century gem carefully preserved for our generation. Theexplanatory posters give the history and meaning. I know there is a shortage of money, but I did get an impression of slight neglect - shame

The site is under a permanent cover next to the Council Offices and opposite Henry Box School. It is a real and interesting part of Witney and has a link with Medieval Kings and Bishops. Should not be missed.
