This is a bit off the main green and needs to be sought out and is worth it. You have the remains of a medieval palace with helpful sign boards.

The site is under a permanent cover next to the Council Offices and opposite Henry Box School. It is a real and interesting part of Witney and has a link with Medieval Kings and Bishops. Should not be missed.
