Well worth the detour to visit this medieval tithe barn to get a better understanding of tithe barns of the period.
It is owned by the National Trust. There is no formal access charge but donations towards the cost of its upkeep are welcomed
To think that it was built so long ago and still standing shows the craftsman ship of the people who built it.Although the barn is now empty it is easy to imagine what went on there after reading the information boards on the site
