This area is amazing to walk the dogs. Not over crowed and so many different routes to take. Extremely peaceful and worth a few hours out walking the dogs

A beautiful ramble any time of the year. The walk changes with each season and never fails to make you stop and wonder at the views. A well signed circular route round a lake which attracts different birds during the year.

If the weather has been wet, you will need your wellies! Nice walk good for bird watching, or a dog walk. My two dogs enjoyed the walk, but boy did they get muddy! Might try it again in the summer when we are having a...More

It's a very nice and gentle walk around a lake with bird watch house and beautiful light. Specially at sunset and sunrise, the light is great for all photography lover and bird watch. The walk is flat and easy access for all age groups.

Very nice area with decent signposting for the 'Circular route' which took about 30 minutes around the lake. Well marked footpaths keep you on track and the birdhouse viewing gallery is a nice touch. Track (expectedly) was a little muddy in places. Only gripe is...More

A very pleasant walk, many birds on the lake, including ducks, geese and comorants. Be sure to wear boots or wellies as parts can be very muddy

An easy walk - a little muddy in places - to see a lot of wildlife. Aquatic bird life including kingfishers, herons and all manner of ducks. Foxes, otters, deer, weasels and stoats all seen here. Lovely flowers including orchids in the spring and summer.

The lakes teem with wildlife all year round, especially water fowl, but also woodland birds. Mixed open areas and woodland paths give a wide range of natural habitats. A wild-life lovers paradise.

I've been walking around these lakes for the last 2 years and have seen them in all seasons. Autumn and spring are these best times to visit when the woods are filled with brownish hues and life, respectively. Good for a gentle stroll or as...More
