The Phoenix Course has several pros and cons. If you enjoy a links-style course, this is a great layout. The greens offer a good challenge, but it is a very "playable" course for intermediate and advanced players. I would not recommend going on Saturday morning. It is a public course and is very busy with an extremely slow pace of... More

This is a great Links course in Grove City - which is now under new management - 17 and 18 are gorgeous holes and not as easy as you would think. The cost is very reasonable - all and all a really great experience - I would recommend this course to anyone!

Usually a great links course, but it is in terrible shape. I used to think it was literally one of the best links style courses in the US. My British friend brags about the first 16 holes, but now it is in such disrepair, it is not worth the time.

Phoenix is a fun golf course in pretty decent shape. It was built on a trash dump so there are no trees on most of the course. The view of downtown Columbus is great. One of it's problems is that the marshals do not marshal and so the pace of play can be pretty slow - painfully slow sometimes. The... More

This course is a very nice links style course and is fun to play. It's more challenging than the other flat Columbus area courses. If the wind is up (and it usually is) it's more difficult.

I've lived in Columbus my whole life and golf quite a bit during the golf season. I've been to nice country clubs to golf as well as budget city courses. I've golfed at at least 50 different Columbus area golf courses and I have to say, this is the worst one in the city. I've been here twice and I... More

Nice links course escpecially if it's windy then you get the true links experience. Great view of downtown columbus. Play them in spring or erly summer before the greens turn really hard!

This is the place to go in the fall when the leaves are dropping. They only have trees on one hole, so losing balls in the fairway isn't a problem here. Not the prettiest course around (it is an old dump) but it's a fine example of land reclaimation. Hit the Links!

We had an extra hour when passing through Ohio, and found this golf course to hit balls in preparation for our round the next day. It is off the beaten track, and the drive up does not look promising at all. However, as you go up the rise to the parking lot you're greeted with a panoramic view of the... More
