Whilst on a walking holiday we took in the Northumberland coast and so glad we did. Simply stunning from rocky shoreline to amazing beaches and sand dunes what more could you need. Beautiful.

It’s about a 10 minute walk along the coastal path which leads you to some steps down to the beach. We are in our late 50’s and we found it quite easy . Hope that helps... plenty of rock pools for dogs to explore

The coastline & the areas designated as outstanding natural beauty are free. Bring a decent pair of boots, a coat and just get out there. The paths are well marked and just go for it. Alnwick Garden tickets online, Boat... More
