Where do I begin? Stunning landscapes, gorgeous castles, miles of beaches to explore. Ancient priories on little islands. Wildlife who come to see you and amazing sites whichever way you look. For us this part of the country is heaven!

The Northumberland coast is a place of outstanding beauty. I have been a visitor since I was a child and it never seems to change totally unspoilt and friendly locals too.

So brilliant. Picture postcard shots in every bay and village. Other than at the weekends even in summer most beaches are relatively quiet. Litter free and most have easy access via the dunes. Most of Northumberland is dog friendly. We will be back.
