If you are, as we are, lovers of the work of LS Lowry then you will find this trail a delight. Follow the trail to identify views and locations of some of Lowry's famous and less famous paintings

We have visited Berwick twice now and have completely (nearly) all of the Lowry trail. Here are a few photographs from this trip. It’s a lovely walk around the town that goes in a nice circle. You can also cross the bridge to Spittal to...More

Lowry painted many paintings on his visits to Berwick and information boards on the trail point out places where he painted some of them. We did not do the whole trail but just came across the boards as we walked around the town. For those...More

A lovely calm walk with nice views and lots of cafes and shops to stop off at. Highly recommend to anyone in Berwick.

We didn’t use the map that’s available but spotted quite a few of the Lowry points on our walk around Berwick and this added interest as we found them. A great idea and makes a stroll around more enjoyable

This has to be the best hidden gem. Don't let the parking and lack of shopping put you off seeing what is here. Think this is why our town remains as it does, cos it's so beautiful underneath all the cracks. Go get yourself for...More

We've only walked along the Spittal promenade part of the trail but really enjoyed it. There's pictures along the way identifying some of Lowry's paintings. Super to walk in his footsteps.

Interesting route around Berwick old town, did not continue on the Spittal side of the Tweed due to strong winds blowing all day. Enjoyed wandering along the walls and attractive streets finding the same views Lowry had captured.

Hi I would say a good hour . We stopped and started diverting here and there. Plus a lunch stop so not really too sure!! Enjoy it anyway. The landscapes just as they were. My imagination went into overdriveSarah
